基于实时公交信息的乘客乘车决策研究

实时交通信息的发布使乘客出行更具灵活性.调查乘客对实时公交系统的应用情况及功能需求,并提取乘客乘车决策规则.考虑乘客决策的"有限理性"特征构建决策模型:将乘车舒适性因素转换为时间成本,运用云模型建立定量时间到定性概念的映射;依据出行参考点确定出行方案的因素权重,建立期望效用函数;构建不同的出行场景,运用决策模型进行出行方案排序.结果表明:该模型能够更大限度地克服乘客理性限制对决策的影响,对多线路多因素方案下的乘客乘车行为做出决策,决策结果符合乘客决策规则,有助于为公交资源的规划与管理提供指导依据.     

Global dynamics and cost-effectiveness analysis of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis and structured treatment interruptions based on a multi-scale model

Structured treatment interruptions (STI) were proposed to reduce costs and side effects for HIV infected individuals, but whether the possible viral rebound within hosts after treatment interruption would lead to more new infections and additional costs among the population remains unknown. Oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is shown as an effective but expensive strategy to prevent the acquisition of HIV infection. To investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of STI and PrEP, we develop a multi-scale model linking within-host and between-host dynamics in the presence of drug resistance. Lyapunov functionals are constructed to analyze the global dynamics of the coupled system. We fit this model to the annual AIDS incidence and death data from 1980 to 2014 among men who have sex with men (MSM) in San Francisco and compare the impact of six various intervention scenarios (low, medium, high PrEP coverage with or without STI) on new infections and cost-effectiveness over the next 20 years. We estimate the PrEP efficacy needed to eliminate the disease for different fraction of acquired drug resistance under the above six scenarios. Numerical simulations show that expanding PrEP coverage is very cost-effective, but whether implementing STI is cost-saving depends on the efficacy of second-line drugs. That is to say, STI could always save money, but it may lead to more (less) new infections than continuous therapy and thus less (more) health benefit for high (low) efficacy of second-line drugs. These results provide insights about the long-term effect of STI and PrEP on the disease control and cost-effectiveness.     

Nonlocal Interaction Induces the Self-organized Mussel Beds

Mussel beds are important habitats and food sources for biodiversity in coastal ecosystems. The predation of mussel on algae depends not only on the current time and location, but also on the quantity of algae at other spatial location and time. To know the impacts of such predation behavior on the dynamics of mussel beds well, we pose a reaction-diffusion mussel-algae model coupling nonlocal interaction with kernel function. By calculating the critical conditions of Hopf bifurcation and Turing bifurcation, the conditions for the generation of Turing pattern are obtained. We find that the diffusion rate and predation rate of mussels have effect on the structure and density of spatial pattern of mussels under the nonlocal interaction, and the predation rate of mussels can produce different pattern types, while the diffusion rate plays a more important role on the pattern density. Moreover, the nonlocal interaction promotes the stability of the mussel beds. These results suggest that the nonlocal interaction between mussels and algaes is one of the important mechanisms for the formation of the spatial structure of mussel beds.     

Nonrelativistic anyons in external electromagnetic field

The first-order, infinite-component field equations we proposed before for nonrelativistic anyons (identified with particles in the plane with noncommuting coordinates) are generalized to accommodate arbitrary background electromagnetic fields. Consistent coupling of the underlying classical system to arbitrary fields is introduced; at a critical value of the magnetic field, the particle follows a Hall-like law of motion. The corresponding quantized system reveals a hidden nonlocality if the magnetic field is inhomogeneous. In the quantum Landau problem spectral as well as state structure (finite vs. infinite) asymmetry is found. The bound and scattering states, separated by the critical magnetic field phase, behave as further, distinct phases.     

On Local Constancy of Topological Entropy for Certain Partially Hyperbolic Diffeomorphisms

Let f: M → M be a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism on a closed Riemannian manifold with uniformly compact center foliation. We show that if the center foliation of f is of dimension one then the topological entropy is constant on a small C¹ neighborhood of f.

Existence results for BVP of a class of Hilfer fractional differential equations

In this paper, we consider the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the nonlocal boundary value problem for semi-linear differential equations involving Hilfer fractional derivative. With the help of properties of Hilfer fractional calculus, Mittag-Leffler functions, and fixed point methods, we derive existence and uniqueness results. Finally, examples are given to illustrate our theoretical results.
